Tony Eyl, President and Broker
Tony Eyl is the owner and broker of Landmark Commercial Realty, Inc. Having started Landmark in 2006, Landmark has become a community fixture and one of the most distinguished land and commercial brokerages in Cherokee County. He has been the #1 selling and a top performing land/commercial broker with the Cherokee Association of Realtors for the last 18 years.
Much of Tony's work is founded upon the strong background of "hands-on" experience in the building and development industry. Tony has done everything in the development and building industry from wearing a tool belt building homes to site acquisition, site planning, zoning, engineering, actual site development, and everything in between. Through this work, Tony has been responsible for the creation and implementation of multiple award winning mixed-use communities creating unique environments and true community revitalization within the metro Atlanta area. Two of the most notable projects he was instrumental in creating was “Woodstock Downtown” and “Woodstock West,” an assemblage of 60 parcels in the heart of downtown Woodstock. Tony is actively involved in the community. He has served on the Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity North Central Georgia and had been one of the longest serving board members of the Downtown Development Authority for Woodstock, GA. In the past he has also served on the Board of Directors for the Cherokee County Association of Realtors, the Board of Directors for the Cherokee County Outdoor YMCA, Vice-Chair of the Board for The Greenprints Alliance, and served on the steering committee for the City of Woodstock to create the new zoning and master plan for the downtown district of Woodstock. His adventurous side has led him on different journeys around the world over the years, the largest travel adventure to date being his walking the entire Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine not once but twice. Tony is also an avid whitewateer kayaker paddling Class 4 and 5 rivers throughout the southeast and is a certified whitewater kayaking instructor which he volunteers his time with on weekends teaching others how to enjoy our area rivers, including volunteering with Team River Runner Atlanta, a non-profit utilizing paddle sports to build community, hope, and healing for veterans and active military.
Specialties: Strengths include complicated land assemblages (largest to date being assemblage of 60 parcels within the downtown district of Woodstock), identifying and consulting on mixed-use redevelopment projects, commercial outparcel sales, and retail/office center sales, as well as commercial leasing for retail, restaurant, or office space. Combined with this are very strong research skills to make sure the full market conditions are considered for every transaction.
